Anavitor LCA 2.1.5 Release Notes!

Comprehensive EPD Offering

ℹ️  More than 150 000 EPDs are now covered in Anavitor LCA's EPD Finder! You may choose an EPD Database and if you know the EPD name, registration number or the supplier, you can search for it. Additional improvements to the EPD Finder is under development.

💡 To secure quality of the EPD offering, all EPDs have a conversion factor, earlier called "ready-to-use", meaning you can trust the data.

Flexible Property Grouping

ℹ️ We are introducing country-specific properties!
Users in Sweden, Finland, and Norway now receive the properties used in their respective markets.

Users can now use the LCA Mapping Structure to define which building element instances should be named based on a chosen property.

The new Edit Primary Grouping feature lets you structure your tabs by selecting the property that determines how your tabs are grouped and displayed. This can be any parameter you prefer to work with — for example classification, Element ID, Element Type, or any custom Archicad parameter.

💡 This is an important step toward fully dynamic property management, giving you full control over which Archicad parameters you want to use. Much more is on the way — stay tuned!

📚 Use the LCA Mapping Settings icon to choose which property should define the naming of your instances.

Recipe Tags & Match Recommendations

ℹ️  Anavitor LCA now introduces recipe tags! Recipe Tags in Anavitor help users find the most relevant LCA recipes faster. The best matches are recommended visually by being highlighted in the LCA Finder, comparing tags between the selected group and available recipes. 

💡Save time by immediately seeing which recipes fit best, with smart tag logic, without having to search manually. You can also create your own tags in the recipe builder when creating or editing recipes.

Excel Import Support

ℹ️  We’re expanding Anavitor with Excel import capabilities, meaning you can import subprojects and resources directly from the official Anavitor Excel template.

💡 This feature allows you to expand your workflows and resources beyond BIM for more complete LCA calculations. The Anavitor Excel template is dynamic and any properties or other data can be imported as long as it follows the structure.

ℹ️  We've updated the Pre-Upload page to make it easier to choose how you provide your model data. You can now select between uploading a BIM Model or importing an Excel file.

Downloads - Archicad Add-On and BIM & LCA Pack

ℹ️ The new add-on supports the existing Archicad property "Building Material / Composite / Profile / Fill", which now replaces "Structure Name" for grouping building parts in Anavitor LCA.

We are also adding support for structuring your instances by floor, position, layer, and more — providing greater flexibility in how your building elements are grouped and handled in Anavitor LCA.

ℹ️ The "Archicad Property & Override Pack" has been renamed to "BIM & LCA Pack" and now includes:

• Country-specific grouping properties

• The Excel import template

• Ready-to-use Graphic Overrides
