Anavitor 2.1.1 Release Notes!

Important - New Archicad Add-On Installer⚡️

ℹ️  A new version of the Anavitor LCA add-on for Archicad is now released in order to enhance the BIM-LCA workflow. 

⚡️ The Archicad add-on now comes as an installation file for both macOS and Windows. Running the installer will replace your existing version automatically.

Material Matching 🔗

ℹ️  The BIM property "Structure Name" is now synchronized between Archicad and Anavitor LCA. The new Archicad property lets you group building parts in Anavitor LCA by the name of the Building Material, Composite and Complex Profile.

💡 This property enables easy BIM & LCA recipe matching by material structure and is the foundation for future automation.

📚 When synchronizing a project to Anavitor LCA, the property will be able to use in the Group composer, see image below. 

📚 To use the new property, please download the latest Archicad Property Pack and follow the included instructions to import the pack to your Archicad project or Archicad Template.

BIM Classification Changes 🏛️

ℹ️  Changing classifications in the BIM software is now supported for the basic building part types, allowing you to calculate building parts that are classified as something other than their original tool.

📚  Use the "Archicad Classification - v 2.0" classification system and set the Server Settings in the Anavitor LCA Add-On in Archicad in order to see the building parts in the corresponding tab in Anavitor LCA.

💡 You may also use the "Archicad Classification" property for the Group composer to group building parts by their classification.

Important information 📣

⚠︎ When you are classifying a building part as a classification which is using volume as quantity, you need a recipe for volume. This can be created in the recipe builder. In order to help with the area to volume conversion, Nordic BIM Group has created a helping tool. Ask us for more information.
