Release News

New features and updates to Anavitor LCA will be released continuously in order to reach the users as soon as they are ready! Change logs will always be public and Nordic BIM Group will send you Release Notes Newsletters periodically to keep you up-to-date with Anavitor LCA's summarized enhancements as well as important workflow changes.

Please note that no update of the BIM Software Add-On is needed for this release. You can use your existing version. Additionally, we would like to inform that added or updated workflows in Anavitor LCA will be communicated shortly to users separately in order to make sure that you can take advantage of the news.

 

Anavitor 2.1 Release Notes!

 

Stage B & New UI 🔧
ℹ️  Prioritizing the market needs according to the regulatory push, support for the Stage B is an important upgrade for Anavitor LCA. This update comes with the new UI page "B2, B4" for building maintenance and replacement, gathering the LCA data for these modules in one place and showing B2, B4 and total Stage B impact separately.

📚 Interval, events during the Stage B, quantity, and units are displayed per environmental resource of the project.

⚡️ With Stage B support, Anavitor LCA's system architecture is now prepared for Stages C and D and will be implemented following the regulatory push.

ℹ️  Latest downloads: The Anavitor LCA login page is updated with links to the up-to-date BIM Integration add-on and property and override pack.
ℹ️  Release notes: Information about the latest release is now accessible through the login page shortcut.

TEK17 Support & Report 📊
ℹ️  Anavitor LCA now supports a generic Norwegian TEK17 report template.
ℹ️  The panels included in the report show BTA / year, which are parameters you set in the Subproject Properties.

📚  TEK17 is the name of the Norwegian building regulations, requiring B2 and B4 reporting.

 

Property Mapping Update 🧬
ℹ️  EPD Registration No. is now populated back to the BIM Model and can be used in schedules and BIMx. Multiple EPDs are separated by ";".

💡 Strengthen your BIM deliveries by enhancing the value of your BIM Model.

📚  In order to populate the BIM model with this data, you need to import the parameter "EPD Registration No." found in the Archicad Property and Override Pack.

• Cloud-native Performance Enhancements 💨
  ℹ️  Anavitor LCA operations are now faster, for example calculations, switching between pages and updating project and subproject properties.
  
  
• UX & UI Enhancements 🖋️
  ℹ️  Click on the Anavitor LCA logotype to return to project page.
  ℹ️  GWP in the LCA Tree is pinned as the first column displaying results.
  ℹ️  The EPD Finder icon activates only when resources that are environmental resources where EPD is relevant, are selected.
  ℹ️  Report Information: You can now change the report information from project and subproject settings.
  ℹ️  Report date is now according to the international standard ISO 8601. 
  ℹ️ The Subproject ID field is now removed from the Create Subproject dialog for faster Subproject creation.
  ℹ️  Improved Dialog Responsiveness: Dialogs adjust their size and layout for better usability on smaller screens.
  
  
• More Updates ⭐️
  ℹ️  Error Management in Calculation: When performing a calculation, using a recipe that cannot be used for the current purpose, you get feedback in order to change the recipe. This ensures a valid calculation.
  ℹ️  Translations are added for new features where applicable.
  ℹ️  Data Quality in Recipe Components is shown to visualize the default data quality of the LCA data included in each component. The scale is: Poor, Low, Moderate, Good and Perfect.

• Bug Fixes 📣
  ℹ️  BIM Model Update: Updating building parts' data, for example Element ID, is now properly handled in the Anavitor LCA instance tree.
  ℹ️  Recipe and Components search improvements and fixed search when adding components to a recipe.
  ℹ️  EPD Exchange Fix: When exchanging an EPD for an environmental resource, only this resource is updated and calculated.
  ℹ️  UI Fixes: Sideways scrolling in the LCA table is now fixed.
  ℹ️  Report Fixes: Inaccurate image cuts and text position is now fixed.
  
  

• Important information 📣
  ⚠︎ When an EPD is added to a building element, it's recipe's environmental resources will be seen after recalculation.
  ⚠︎ BTA is required in order to make a proper calculation. Set the BTA in the Subproject properties dialog.
